The Designer
Heidi Higgins an alumni of NCAD set up her own label in 2009. Her brands motto " elegance with a twist" which is exactly what a ladies day outfit should be.

Stocked in boutiques across the country and their flag ship studio in Portlaoise, Heidi's designs are sure to set compliments flying. With previous ladies day winners (Dubai Duty Free, 2011) sporting her creations it hard not to see the appeal of the label.

Carol Kennelly, recently crowned milliner of the year 2016 at Kerry fashion week is one of Ireland's top milliners. Her pieces are both creative and unique, garnering a huge amount of awards at ladies day event across Ireland. A winner of Galway ladies day herself Carol has a keen sense of style which translates into her designs. Flying the flag for Irish design both at home and abroad Carol Kennelly is one to consider when looking for that final touch to your outfit.

The newly opened boutique run by its name sake Jennifer Wrynne stocks everything you need for a fashionable and stylish ladies day outfit. Starting out as a hat designer Jennifer has capitalised on her success to launch the store which includes hats, headpieces, dresses, bags and jewelry. Considering Jennifers achievements at Cheltnams ladies day in 2015 (winning best dressed lady) and her strong celebrity following it is safe to say her customers are in good hands when they come looking for that special outfit.

Tara O'Farrell  of tara-makeup.com is our top pick for race day make up artist. The regular on TV3's Expose is the woman to go to for a killer make up look with her Instagram and blog acting as a showcase of her amazing talent. She has a great sense of what products work best with a persons colouring and more importantly there outfit which is key for any look.
